US Saudi Coalition’s fighter jets target displaced camps in Marib | Yemen Press Agency
MARIB, March 2 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition’s fighter jets targeted on Tuesday displaced camps in Marib province, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.
The sources said that coalition’s warplanes waged air strikes on displaced camps in al-Sawabin area of Thana valley.
The sources confirmed that the camp contains 470 displaced families and Islah militias prevented them from leaving the camp two weeks ago in order to use them as human shields.
Update: Coalition warplanes target camp of IDPs in Marib for second time
MARIB, March 02 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition warplanes on Tuesday evening committed the second crime of targeting the camps of internal displaced persons (IDPs) in “Danat Al-Hayal” area, west of Marib city, local sources reported.
The sources called for the international human rights and humanitarian organizations to open an international investigation into the crimes committed by the coalition fighter jets against the displaced west of the city of Marib.
This came less than two hour after the coalition warplanes targeted a camp of displaced in “Al-Sawabin” area in “Thanna” Valley, which contains 470 displaced families whom were prevented by Islah Party militia two weeks ago from leaving the camp to use them as human shields.
