The Syrian Foreign Ministry denied the rumors on the use of Scud missiles and accused the U.S. to sabotage the Conference on Nuclear Disarmament and WMD, in defense of Israel.

DAMASCUS, 14/12/2012 – Foreign and Expatriates Ministry Completely Denies Rumors about Syrian Arab Army Using Scud Missiles against Armed Terrorist Groups.

A source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry on Thursday completely denied as untrue rumors about the Syrian Arab Army using Scud Missiles to confront the armed terrorist groups.

The statement came in response to what has been circulated by some instigative sides, particularly Turkey and its partners in conspiring against Syria, with the aim of distorting Syria’s image and position in the international community.

The source added that it is well-known that Scud missiles are strategic long-range missiles and are not used in facing armed terrorist gangs.

    • secret, i hardly ever go to reader … i have it on blogs i follow but i still get others also for some reason and there is too many. i think when i did award post i followed 190 people (mostly poets and photographers, surprised?), that is lot of people to keep up with, without adding more i don’t follow in reader.
